A lot of this of this isn’t right. The Bible IS the foundational document of the West. Of course it originated in Israel, but the Judeo-Christian culture spread from Israel to Europe to the United States. Because it didn’t originate in the West doesn’t mean the West wasn’t founded upon it.

As Christianity spread through the Roman Empire it merged with their ideas, but Christianity heavily influenced the Western world.

What he means by “everyone is religious” is that everyone has implicit beliefs. If you were born in the West, you’ve been heavily influenced by Judeo-Christian morality. Period. If you’re a goldfish, it’s the water you swim in. You don’t even notice it’s there, until you go to a culture that has has had no exposure to it, which are almost nonexistent at this point.
